In this class, agents will learn how to generate strong seller leads by focusing on two of the most effective prospecting sources in real estate: Expired Listings and For Sale By Owner (FSBO) leads.
Why Expired & FSBO Leads Matter
Expired listings are properties that were previously on the market but didn’t sell, meaning the owner already tried selling and may still be motivated to work with an agent who brings a fresh strategy. Expired leads tend to have higher conversion rates and often list with a new agent faster than other lead types.
FSBO leads are properties being sold directly by the owner, without an agent. Though they may start hesitant about agent involvement, they represent opportunities to demonstrate value — many eventually decide to work with a Realtor once they see the complexity involved.
Both expired and FSBO leads outperform internet or sphere-of-influence leads when approached with the right mindset and systems.
