Lisa Parrott's We Love Ornette

After a series of workshops with Coleman’s son and PrimeTime drummer Denardo, the goal was to build an acoustic version of PrimeTime. The resulting jumble is engaging, dynamic and nimble, not only a nod to Ornette, but to New Orleans polyphony and the inverted grooves of Steve Coleman’s M-Base.
