Lisa Bodnar and Whistlegrass launch their evocative multimedia production Y411 at the Icehouse on Saturday, April 11 at 8pm. Y411 explores the emotional and liberating journey of choices that humans make at life's many crossroads to self-discovery and self-acceptance, and how it can foster deeper empathy and acceptance of others. The evening will be filled with original compositions featuring new material, and new arrangements of songs from Lisa's last three albums. The pieces will be performed in a variety of ensembles including a piano trio: piano, cello, and violin; a duet: guitar and piano; and full band: piano, guitars, drums and bass.
Doors open at 7:15pm. Show starts at 8pm.
Tickets ($20) can be purchased in advance at lisabodnar.com/shows or at the door on the day of the event.
