Here is your perfect chance to get some practice on the track we will use for the Nationals DH.
1 day of practice - Saturday
1 day of racing - Sunday
Please note there are separate registrations for each day.
WHAT IS A DOUBLE HEADER DH?
It’s a format where we race 2 tracks on one day.
4 x practice runs in the morning, followed by 1 timed run on each track.
The combined times will then decide the overall placing.
TRACK 1
Sidewinder, a fast flowy digger built trail, linking into the DH at the bottom.
Grade 4
TRACK 2
Homebrook DH. A mix of digger and hand built trail.
Grade 5

MAY 23rd - PRACTICE SHUTTLES
Minimum age 11yrs on 31/12/26
$50 members (Type MMBC Member as the discount code)
$60 non members.
Online registration only.
8:30am - Rego opens
12:00-1pm - Lunch
3:30pm - Last shuttle

2pm - Race run on Homebrook DH
3:30 - Prize giving

U18s are required to have a parent or guardian onsite at ALL times.
Minimum age is 11.
This is racing on grade 4-5 trails, advanced level.
Riders MUST be confident racing at this level.
PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS AS PER MTBNZ REQUIREMENTS
U17 Must have.
Full face helmet
Neck Brace or body armour
Knee and elbow protection
Long pants and long sleeved shirt
U19 and above must have.
Full face helmet
Long Sleeve shirt
Long pants or shorts and knee/shin guards.
Highly recommend body armor, spinal protection, gloves.
NO KIT = NO SHUTTLE.
This will be checked both days at registration.
