About this Event
In this body painting workshop we'll be painting a full corset style lingerie set on a live model for this workshop.
We will be using an airbrush for some of the detail, but also including alternative ways to achieve the same effect without an airbrush, since many students won't have an airbrush at home.
No body painting experience is required, and this is a good introduction into body painting in general.
What to bring
All basic materials are included. If you have a brush kit, you should bring it. If you have a specific idea of what you would like to paint it or how you would like to style it, then you should bring your own accessories paints, stencils and colours.
We'll be painting a corset and underwear design, but the specifics of how it's decorated and the colours, lace effects, and styling are all up to you.
There are 3 airbrush/compressor sets here, which is always enough to go around and share, but if you have an airbrush/compressor you should bring it.
Basically - we'll meet you where you are. If you're brand new then we'll have everything you need for a beginner. If you are very experienced in body paint/ face paint/sfx/makeup/etc then you will naturally bring a more experienced eye to the project and will want your kit with you to embellish and level up the design.
Nipple covers will be provided, but are not compulsary.

When you drive in to station road and the station house is in front of you turn right and the entrance is along the side there. Follow the balloons.
Parking is free.
Class Breakdown
The first half will be breaking down the techniques, watching a demo and practicing elements, before painting a live model for the second half of the class.
We'll take a break at 2ish to grab some lunch and rearrange the room for the models. There will be tea and coffee and snacks there. There is a Texaco, cafe Costa, Lidl, and Tescos nearby if you need to run out and grab anything either.
We will have a backdrop setup to take photos at the end of the class for your portfolio.
Models
You will be expected to bring your own model for the second half of the workshop, from 2.30pm. Models must be strictly over 18 years of age. Models of all genders are welcome.
If you are having difficulty finding a model, let me know and I'll see if I can find one.
Models may not be fully nude, and must be wearing underwear or some modesty cover such as a strapless thong.
Many artists/models choose to focus on painting the corset and only paint the torso, and style the bottom half using costuming. On the day I will discuss this, and most people opt for this in the end, so maybe consider how to dress the bottom half, or you can choose to only photograph the torso.
There will likely not be time to do a full face of makeup after the body painting, so talk to your model beforehand and see if they want to do any makeup before they arrive at 2.30.
