Pianist Lin Ye, the Liszt Society Artist 2025, is rapidly emerging as a rising star among the new generation of international artists.
In 2008, he gave his acclaimed debut recital in Germany and was subsequently invited to pursue advanced studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, where he earned both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. In 2018, he received his Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music.
In 2020, he released his first internationally distributed solo piano album, Dawn and Dusk, which won the Best Solo Piano Album at the 2021 European Young Artists Music Awards. In recognition of his outstanding musical achievements and contributions to international cultural exchange, the United Nations World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Foundation awarded him the title of “Model of Cultural Innovation” in 2023.
As a solo pianist, Lin has given numerous recitals across Asia, Europe, and the United States. His performances have taken place at prestigious venues including the Richard Jakoby Saal in Hannover, Merkin Concert Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York, Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall in Japan, Nanjing Poly Grand Theatre, and Hong Kong City Hall.
On 14 August 2025, he will give a solo recital at St Marylebone Parish Church in London, presented with the support of the Liszt Society UK and Classical-D Music, founded by Mr. Hao Yao, with renowned pianist Leslie Howard serving as Co-Artistic Director.
