Light & Shadow: A Hands-On Science & Art Experience for Kids

During our monthly 2nd Saturday Open House, June 13 | 10:00 AM – 2:00 PMJoin us for a playful and interactive exploration of light, color, and shadow—led by educators from the Connecticut Science Museum!In this drop-in style activity, children will experiment with light sources, colored filters, and shadows to discover how light behaves and how colors mix and change. Through hands-on play, kids will explore the science behind what they see every day, while creating fun and unexpected visual effects.This engaging experience blends science, creativity, and curiosity, making it perfect for young learners and families looking for something both educational and fun.
