About this Event
This session of Life with Celiac Disease is focused on the pyschosocial impact that celiac disease has on children and the power and importance of peer support. In this session you'll learn the ways your child might be emotionally affected living with celiac disease and how you can help them to thrive.
This seminar is by led Dr Anava Wren, clinical pyschologist and Director of GI Psychosocial services at Stanford Children's.
Life with Celiac Disease is a series of virtual educational seminars geared towards people and families living with celiac disease. Each lecture features a guest lecturer who is an experts in either clinical treatment, mental health or life skills coaching related to celiac disease.
The seminars are correlated but independent of one another, providing value for patients who chose not to attend all sessions.
Registration is donation based with no minimum donation required. Funds raised through this seminar go towards important programs like this one for celiac patients at Vanderbilt Health.
