By attending this training your will feel more prepared for those important conversations and the life story discussions that you will need to have with your children and young people.
Whatever age, whether 3 or 16, there are moments when discussions will be necessary to support a child or young persons understanding of self and their own story in an age appropriate way.
Get insights on how to approach these conversations and hear from carers and parents with experience of doing this.
Through discussions with others, you will feel better supported.
This Life Story Work and Important Conversations course is delivered by AUK trainers who have lived experience of adoption, fostering and kinship care.
This course is also appropriate for foster or kinship carers
This is not a suitable course for professionals.
