About this Event
Please feel welcome to join this drawing opportunity. We are lucky to have Giulia Drummond model for us. This will be a nude session (a draped session photo has been used for the advertising). Group is held in the council chambers room, first floor of Penicuik Town Hall. You must bring your own supplies and paper. You will be provided with a table but you would be welcome to bring an easel and or board instead. You won't be given direction, but we will have some short poses (1.5 mins) to start and have 3 longer poses thereafter (~40 mins)
Dress for warm weather! We keep the room warm for Giulia. We will take 2 comfort breaks, where you can help yourself to tea and coffee. Please bring your own mugs. Tea bags and semi skimmed cows milk provided, bring an alternative if required.
If you are using fixative, please take your piece outdoors to spray it outside. There is a lift in the town hall. Please email me in advance if you need to make use of the ramp to get in the building. I would look to give the caretaker a heads up, as the community cafe is closed this week, and that has the ramp access. Parking can be paid for at the b and m car park, or you can park for free opposite the Navaar hotel or on local side streets.
