About this Event

"I’m done with my PhD—now what?"

The panel will consist of four panellists who are currently working across different sectors, including industry, government, and academia. The panellists will address students’ questions about their experiences during their PhD, provide insights into career pathways across different sectors, and discuss how to transition into professional life after completing a PhD.

The panel will be followed by a mentoring session, networking, and dinner.

Dr. Daniel Griffiths Senior Research Fellow at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne. (Academia)

Dr. Samantha Ratnam Member of Legislative Council in the Victorian Government. (Government)

Dr. Aida Shakouri Medical Advisor GSK (Industry)

Dr. Aaron Bembenek Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne's School of Computing and Information Systems (CIS)
