About this Event
Join us for a hands-on workshop where art meets activism. Together, we’ll explore how paint, words, and visuals can spark dialogue, challenge injustice, and inspire action. Whether you’re a painter, writer, or creator of any kind, this is your space to transform passion into powerful expressions of resistance and hope. Leave with fresh ideas, collaborative projects, and the tools to make your art a force for change. Matrials provided.
Artist Farha grew up exploring various forms of art including mixed media and sculpture. Over the last couple years, Farha has been involved with a group of activists in Washington DC where they were protesting the genocide in Gaza, using street theater and political art. This involved making large provocative banners, as well as setting up portable props and stages for political street theater that could be easily assembled and disassembled during their protests.
