About this Event
Join us for the 2024 LGBT Intergenerational Extravaganza! This event is a collaboration between Capitol Hill Village, the DC Department of Aging and Community Living, the DC Center for the LGBT Community, DMV Queers, Seabury Resources For Aging, and Whitman-Walker.
This event encourages attendees to connect and build relationship through discussions, film, and other creative activities.
This free event includes:
- Watching and discussing the series Not Another Second (2021)
- Interactive workshops facilitated by the Theatre Lab, Whitman-Walker, DMV Queers, and community members
This is an 18+ event.
Attendees are encouraged to take rapid covid tests beforehand and will be provided access to N95 masks onsite if needed.
The MLK Jr Library is 5 minutes walking from the Metro Center Station (Red, Orange, Blue, Silver metro lines) and the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station (Green and Yellow metro lines).
This event will be located in conference rooms on the 4th floor of the MLK Jr library. This is accessible via any of the library’s four elevators. Attendees with visual impairments may download Goodmaps, an assistive app, to navigate the library.
Signs will be posted at the conference rooms and an individual will be present before the event starts on the 4th floor to help direct attendees.
