This is not just an open mic.
LEZ OPEN THE MIC is a monthly creative gathering designed for Queer womxn and gender-expansive artists who crave depth, connection, and creative practice; not performative networking or rushed stage time.
This experience blends:
- ✍🏽 A guided writing workshop
- 🌙 Intentional networking rooted in essence, not resumes
- 🎤 A supportive, curated open mic space
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or sharing for the first time, this is a room that holds you, not judges you.
🌑 WHAT TO EXPECT
2:00 – 2:30 PM | Arrival + Grounded Networking
We begin by arriving intentionally. Expect light facilitation that helps you connect beyond “what do you do?” and into who you are.
2:30 – 3:15 PM | Guided Writing Workshop
Led by SublimeLuv, this workshop will offer prompts and practices to help you:
- Access your voice
- Warm up creatively
- Write from truth, not pressure
No experience required. Just come open.
3:30 – 5:00 PM | Open Mic Experience
Poetry, spoken word, storytelling, music; all expressions are welcome.
This is a brave, affirming space to practice being seen and heard.
