Prevention in Action: Leveraging Spatial Intelligence to Enhance Firefighter Health
Firefighters face an alarming cancer risk due to exposure to hazardous pollutants within firehouses. This event will bring together experts and panelists to discuss the root causes, share experiences, and explore innovative solutions.
MKThink will present findings from our study with the San Francisco Fire Department, Critical Places: Mitigating Cancer Risks in Fire Stations with Spatial Intelligence. This iniative leverages our spatial intelligence expertise to address the alarming rates of cancer among firefighters. We will share key insights from our ongoing research, including how firehouse design impacts cancer risks, and identify the equipment and station areas contributing to hazardous air pollutants.
Through this effort, MKThink’s professional and tech services are driving a robust analysis to support and expand this critical research.
