Join me, Sean Connolly, an American Cider Association Certified Pommelier™, for an informative and entertaining 101-level session diving into the wide world and styles of cider. Meet fellow cider aficionados, explore some history, how it’s made, harvest a little bet-you-didn’t know trivia, and best of all, get a curated, diverse flight of cider samples and tasting tips to increase your cider knowledge, tune up your nose and palate, impress your friends, and help plan future cider adventures.

Info: The history of cider goes back more than a millennium, globally, for hundreds of years here in the States, and for decades in the Pacific Northwest. Let's use some fun trivia to unpack some historic cider facts.

Info: Geophiles celebrate! We're going to globe and map out -- literally--some key cider regions in North American and beyond and talk about why they matter.

Info: Cider--and Perry--is all about the fruit, including where and how it's grown and processed. Ready for some apple--and pear--bingo to learn more, including some varieties you might not know with some fun, unusual names.

Info: There are multiple cider types and styles. Let's dig into them and play some multiple choice to sort them out .

Info: Making cider (and perry's) is easy: just get some juice or crush some apples or pears, add cultured yeast --or not-- and off we go, right? Actually...let's dig in a bit. Using a fun, let's-build-the-sequence game, we'll cover the highlights including essential steps and equipment.
