Learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom. You will make your own frame loom and create a wall hanging on that loom for your home.Dates : Wednesday, July 24 - Friday, July 26, 2024 10:00 am - 3:00 pm daily. Ticket: $150.00. In this class, you will learn the basics of weaving on a frame loom. You will make a frame loom to take home with you. You will learn how to start and finish a wall-hanging. You will learn a variety of stitches for creating texture and shapes and other important weaving tips. By the end of this class, you will have a wall hanging for your home.
The instructor will provide:
-All items to make a simple loom,
-yarn for weaving,
-some tools.
Supplies the student should bring:
-Lightweight drill with the smallest drill bit.
-Needle nose pliers,
-2 cardboard scraps (15” by 3” and 6” by 4”),
-lightweight hammer,
-ruler,
-scissors
-old magazines.
-Yarns will be provided, but if you have some you love and want to use, bring them along especially if they are bulky.
-lunch and beverages. A refrigerator and microwave are available. One half hour for lunch each day.
Students should be prepared to pay the $35 materials fee on the first day of class. Cash or checks only will be accepted.

If you are not feeling well, please contact the instructor instead of coming to the class. On a case-by-case basis, we may be able to reschedule you into a future class or provide a make-up lesson. Ticket fees are not normally refunded.
Depending on the CDC guidelines for Hamilton County at the time the class is held, a mask may be required. If so, you will be notified before the first class.
Fees are non-refundable. Your fee will only be refunded if the class is canceled or changed to a different date. Three registrations are required for a class to be held. Students will be notified before the start date if a class is canceled due to an insufficient number of students. Eventbrite processing and credit card payment fees will not be refunded if a student cancels for any reason.
