A longer walk starting and ending on the canal towpath at Saltaire, taking in a steady ascent to Shipley Glen.

About this Event

Join us for a longer walk with a steady climb as we start in Saltaire then ascend alongside the Shipley Glen tramway.

We’ll explore Shipley Glen then return through the former estate of Sir Titus Salt, returning back to the Leeds Liverpool Canal.

Suitable for walkers with some experience.

Book now

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
