Foundations for Wellbeing: Mindset, Self-Care & Empowerment
A series of workshops designed to stand alone or be enjoyed as part of a connected journey. Each session explores different aspects of wellbeing, with mindset and self-care running throughout, and can be attended in any order or on its own. Session 3: Becoming Your Own Health Advocate
This interactive session helps participants feel more confident navigating their health and wellbeing. Using practical strategies, including the BRAIN tool for decision making, guidance on preparing for appointments, and tips for finding reliable information from trusted sources such as NHS and NICE, participants will build confidence in managing their health.
Participants will leave with:
- Confidence to speak up and ask questions
- Practical strategies for making informed decisions
- Skills for finding reliable health information
- One self care approach to support themselves before and after appointments
