What is Let's Connect?
Let’s Connect is a beginner-friendly community space designed to bridge the gap between technical builders and creative thinkers. Whether you are a developer looking for a project or a non-tech founder with a great idea, this is the place to meet your future collaborators.
To make networking easy and awkward-free, we use a speed networking format. You will rotate through short, focused conversations, ensuring everyone gets a chance to connect with everyone.

How much does it cost?
πŸ’² General Entry β€” $5 (2 hours)
Covers space and refreshments. Think of it like buying a coffee, but instead of just caffeine, you’re gaining valuable contacts and potentially meeting your next co-founder.

  • πŸ‘₯ Who Can Join? Everyone! Developers, designers, founders, students, and anyone with an idea or a skill to share. This is a beginner-friendly zone.
  • πŸ—£ Possible Activities: Speed networking rounds, sharing project ideas, finding a mentor or a partner, and casual tech discussions.
  • πŸ‘œ What to Bring: Just yourself! You are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet to show off a portfolio or pitch deck if you have one, but it is not mandatory. Conversation is key here.
  • ⏰ Note: Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so we can start the rotations on time.

Agenda:
πŸ“† Every Tuesday β€” Vancouver PST Time: 12:00pm – 2:00pm

  • 10 min – Reception & Introductions (About us & event flow)
  • 5 min – Rules of Engagement (Explaining the speed networking format)
  • ~1.5 hour – Speed Networking Rounds. Everyone talks to everyone! We will rotate partners every 5–7 minutes to ensure maximum connection.
  • 10 min – Open Mixing & Closing. Re-connect with the people who sparked your interest and final remarks.
