Leon’s educational journey began at Abilene Christian University on the football field, where he pursued his passion for learning and obtained his bachelor’s degree. His time at university fostered a strong foundation of knowledge and a lifelong commitment to intellectual growth and the power of relationships. Drawing inspiration from his own rough experiences, Leon recognized the transformative power of education and its potential to shape lives.
Following his graduation, Leon embarked on a career in teaching and coaching, dedicating himself to nurturing young minds and instilling a love for learning in his
students. Over the years, he has honed his skills and earned a reputation as a respected and compassionate mentor/educator. His commitment to his students’ well-being extends beyond the classroom, as he actively seeks opportunities to engage with the community and make a positive impact on their lives.
In addition to his teaching career, Leon is the founder and driving force behind City Kids Adventures, a nonprofit organization that aims to provide underprivileged children with enriching experiences and opportunities. His extensive knowledge of dog training, wildlife, and hunting techniques has made him a sought-after mentor and companion for fellow bird hunting enthusiasts.
