It’s our 21st LEND ME AN EAR in the 21st Century recreating Old Time Radio shows from the 20th Century, so on October 21 we’re giving a 21-gun salute to the Holidays!The theme this year at the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse will be ’TIS THE SEASON. Go Trick-or-Treating with BABY SNOOKS & DADDY; have Thanksgiving with an American Jewish family in THE GOLDBERGS; from TOWN HALL TONIGHT, spend Christmas with Fred Allen as Santa Claus Sits Down, and then listen to The Plot to Overthrow Christmas as it unfolds, a piece written in verse by the famous Norman Corwin for THE COLUMBIA WORKSHOP.
The fundraiser is for Open Hand Atlanta, the largest community-based home-delivered meal provider in the Southeast, providing medically-appropriate meals and nutrition education to 1000s of people too sick to cook for themselves, including the disabled, elderly, and/or home-bound.

The event is at 7:30 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 at the Shakespeare Tavern, 499 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.
Doors open at 6:15 PM and authentic English fare and a cash bar will be available.
Parking is recommended directly across the street at Emory Midtown Hospital.
