Join us in celebrating the release of Better Pets, the hilarious new picture book from bestselling author-illustrator duo Leigh Bardugo and Liz Climo! Strictly No Elephants meets The Bakery Dragon in this charming story about finding the perfect pet.
Leigh and Liz will discuss their book with author Jenny L. Howe. An audience Q&A and book signing will follow their discussion. Leigh and Liz will sign copies of Better Pets plus one additional book per guest.
Ticket options for this event include:
- General Admission + Book: $21.24, admits one guest. This ticket option comes with a copy of Better Pets that Leigh and Liz will sign at the event.
- Companion Ticket: $5, admits one guest. This ticket option must be purchased in addition to at least one General Admission + Book ticket. The cost of this ticket will be donated to Sunny Paws Rescue. If you'd like to donate more than $5 to Sunny Paws, we will have additional donation opportunities at the event.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Leigh Bardugo is the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of The Familiar, The Invisible Parade, and the Ninth House trilogy. ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR:
Liz Climo is a cartoonist, children’s book author, illustrator, and animator. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles after college to work as a character artist on The Simpsons. She is the author of the Rory the Dinosaur series, The Little World of Liz Climo, Lobster Is the Best Medicine, Please Don't Eat Me!, and Best Bear Ever!. Her books have been translated into ten languages and have sold millions of copies worldwide. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.
ABOUT JENNY L. HOWE:
Jenny L. Howe is a literature professor, amateur dog wrangler, and owner of too many Lego sets. Getting lost in love stories is her favorite form of escapism, and she still can’t believe that she gets to write her own and share them with the world. She is the author of romances for teens and adults, including her YA debut Love at Full Tilt.
