About The Author Weekend:
Everything needs to be just right for bestselling mystery writer Faye Wader’s first ever fan weekend. About the Author:
Laura Zigman is the author of Small World (a New York Times Group Text pick and Editor's Choice), Separation Anxiety, Animal Husbandry (which was made into the movie "Someone Like You," starring Hugh Jackman and Ashley Judd), Dating Big Bird, Her, and Piece of Work. She has collaborated on several works of non-fiction-including Eddie Izzard's New York Times bestseller, Believe Me-and has been a contributor to the New York Times and other publications. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Taryn Roeder is Vice President of Publicity at Abrams Books, leading the publicity departments for the Adult and Children’s divisions. Taryn has twenty+ years of experience in book publicity and has worked with major figures in politics, science, art, and music, as well as on literary fiction and narrative nonfiction. Prior to Abrams, Taryn was Senior Director of Publicity at HarperCollins and Director of Publicity at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Her favorite thing these days is all the fun work she gets to do with Jeff Kinney and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, including hanging out at An Unlikely Story! While it is true that some books are easier to promote than others, Taryn swears she loves all of her authors equally.
