On March 19, 2026 DSAMT will host a Legislative Breakfast. During this special day, DSAMT will present OUR STORIES to legislators. This is a program designed to teach self-advocates and their family members how to advocate for policy changes at the state and local levels. The program will culminate with video and written stories from individuals with Down syndrome and their families presented in a breakfast with Tennessee legislators. Breakfast will be from 8-9 with an opportunity to go as a group to the Capitol after the breakfast to watch the House session meeting.Address: Cordell Hull Building

DSAMT will provide a drop-in breakfast for our community and legislators beginning at 8:00 a.m. The breakfast will be held in Room 8D of the Cordell Hull Building (see address above).
