About this Event
We're gathering at Dorsey Park, one of the few ballparks in the country where Negro League teams once played during its time as a Black-owned ballpark. Here, the diamond holds a living legacy of excellence, resilience, and community. Join us for a community kickball game, food, storytelling, and connection across generations, and come experience the restored Dorsey Park community mural led by Urgent Inc. and Art by Alou.
Hosted by the Overtown Community Champions in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Miami, Catalyst Miami, Temple Beth Shalom, Nana's Restart, and Ivory Tours, we gather to honor freedom, remembrance, and the ongoing work of building a more just and connected community — together.
