In January 2025 my dad (Lee Brannan) was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. My dad managed my football team from me being 6 years old up until I was 20 and met some great friends through that one being Lee Clegg. With the support from Chris Liddemore, Sally&Jay Butler have kindly offered the use of the Eccleshill United ground for the charity game to be played between two old rivals/ friends Lee Brannan’s Eccleshill United and Lee Cleggs Glen/Robin Hood Xi. The players involved in this game will be the lads who won the treble in the final season and a few additions where needed, there will be other games arranged in the future for the lads who have reached out and want to take part in a charity game for my dad and genuinely it really is appreciated, I know so many think well of my dad and want to show there support. They will be many raffles happening on the day and I would love it if as many people could make it and raise as much money as possible on the day. The function room will also be open for refreshments and kind donations. Big thanks to David Wilkinson and Ian Fraser for offering their support for the day and all the other people wanting to get involved.
