📚 Lecture: "Meditation & Self-Realization: The Mind–Body System"
🎤 Speaker: Professor Daniel Martin Rynerson
Join us for an enlightening evening with Professor Daniel Martin Rynerson as he explores the transformative role of mindfulness in the journey towards self-realization. This lecture will delve into the mental and energetic engagement of the chakra-meridian systems, discussing the powerful symbolism attached to each center of energy.
Discover how our control of the mind-body system is shaped by how we allow our thoughts to flow, activating what are known as the 'Subtle Energy' systems within the human body. Daniel will highlight the Ancient Chinese 'Energy Meridian' system and its connections to lymphatic, oxygen, and blood flow, as well as the Yogic Chakra system and its parallels to various glands.
Throughout the lecture, we will examine the science, mythology, and archetypal energies that guide us toward expanded states of consciousness. Daniel Martin Rynerson is a Professor of Psychology at Montclair State University, focusing on Cognitive Science and Behavioral Neuroscience. His interdisciplinary approach combines scientific research with teachings from Kriya Yoga and Thai Yogic Therapy.
Don’t miss this chance to deepen your understanding of mindfulness and self-exploration!
