About this Event
Learn to Speak Dog: A Hands-On Education Day
Ready to go beyond the basics and actually read the dogs in front of you? This in-person experience is designed for dog owners and sitters who want to feel more confident, prevent issues before they start, and create calmer, safer interactions. You’ll learn how to spot subtle body language cues, understand what different behaviors really mean, and know when to engage—or give a dog space. We’ll also cover common health topics like upset tummies, how to prevent them, and what to do when they happen, along with best practices for keeping dogs safe and comfortable in your care. You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools and equipment, understanding how to use them properly without judgment. Most importantly, you’ll learn how your energy and leadership impact every interaction, helping you become the calm, confident presence dogs need. This is the same real-world education used by Bed and BARKfest sitters, now open to the public.
