Register now: https://forms.gle/xxfvvFf4cBBg2otF7This is a 5 week course, every Sunday at 5pm in Meeanee, focused on a safe and supportive environment for adults to learn to roller-skate with a focus on roller derby style skating. All genders and ages 18 and over are welcome!
Once you've mastered the basics, join us for Learn to Derby / Learn to Referee to learn how to make friends, then skate into them :D
Open to all skill levels, whether you are brand new, returning to skating, or looking for a new skate discipline. including if you have never skated before! We adapt each class to your ability and learning style.
Bring your own skates or borrow club skates, helmets and pads for your knees, elbows and wrists. (quantities of skate sizes are limited). Classes are $10/class incl equipment.
What to expect?
After a short warm up to get moving and shake out the nerves, we'll get geared up and ready to roll. Learning to stand on our wheels with stability, how to fall safely and comfortably, then we get into the fun bit, roller skating!
