About this Event
You are invited to a special two hour calligraphy workshop full of creativity and hope.
This is a two hour guided workshop where you will learn to write the word "Peace" in beautiful Hebrew, Arabic and English calligraphy.
Through demonstrations and guidance you will be shown how to use special calligraphy pens and beautiful inks to create a beautiful artwork you can take home.
30 places are available.
The workshop is free for 15-25 year olds, all other adults £20 (includes all materials)
[Note: please contact us privately if you would like to come but are unable to pay - we need to cover our costs but will try our best to ensure no-one misses out]
During the session tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available to purchase at the Maqam cafe and we invite you to bring cake to share too. Sharing delicious home-cooked food has become a bit of a tradition for us.
