No experience or equipment needed! Create art / make new friends
About this Event
Summer Teen Fiction Filmmaking Program for ages 12-17
Join us for our Winter Teen Animation Program in Washington D.C. for both those just starting and those with experience taught by our professional animator. Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn the art of 2D drawn and digital animation, including how to make a short film.
Everyone works both individually and in teams on equipment provided by DCIFF. You will learn how to use easily available online animation tools, set up space to film and produce a small final film that everyone has contributed to. Don't think you can draw? Not a problem - you will learn hw to animate figures anyway.
This in-person course offers a fantastic opportunity for young creators aged 12-18 to explore their passion for storytelling through art, drawing, collage and film. You will also have a unique chance to meet interesting professionals and see how they work. Our teaching team has a wealth of experience in filmmaking and we know students love our program!
Includes:
