About this Event
Join Gates Cambridge as four Scholars debate how you can lead with courage in an age of autocracy, misinformation and lack of trust. The four are: Ella McPherson, Associate Professor of the Sociology of New Media and Digital Technology and also Co-Director of the Centre of Governance and Human Rights at the University of Cambridge; Dan Greenfield, founder of PetaGene, a provider of cloud-based software for genetic data storage, transfer and remote access; Cillian Ó Fathaigh, co-founder of Pulc, an AI tool which aims to address educational inequality and reduce teachers' workload; and D’Arcy Williams, CEO of Bite Back, a youth-led activist movement working to achieve a world where all young people have the opportunity to be healthy. The debate will be hosted by journalist Catherine Galloway.
Gates Cambridge is the University of Cambridge’s leading international postgraduate scholarship programme, and emphasises transformative leadership and a commitment to improving the lives of others.
