About this Event
Leading Inclusion – Workplace Capacity Building & EDI is a 75-minute interactive session designed for workplace leaders who want practical, future-ready strategies to attract, engage, and retain talent in a rapidly changing labour market.
By 2035, Canada is projected to lose 25% of its workforce due to population aging. At the same time, organizations are increasingly reliant on younger generations, New Canadians, people with disabilities, racialized workers, and LGBTQ2S+ communities. These are not “emerging” talent pools. They are today’s workforce.
Diversity is a fact. Inclusion is a skill.
Research consistently shows that most workers experience low engagement and frequent negative emotions at work. Organizations that prioritize equity, inclusion, and psychological health and safety see higher engagement, productivity, creativity, and innovation and are better positioned for long-term sustainability.
This session goes beyond awareness to focus on real-world leadership competencies that strengthen organizational capacity and create workplaces where people can thrive.
