Lead Poisoning Prevention and Mold Workshop

Lead poisoning can occur through exposure to old household paint, drinking water, soil, and certain occupations. Participants will learn about the health effects and common sources of lead exposure and basic prevention measures to limit future exposure. Mold growth occurs in homes with high moisture levels. Participants will learn why mold is growing in their homes and how to safely clean it. To receive a free kit of materials, you must live in the City of Portland and your income must be at or below 80% of the Portland area median income.
