Episode 1: My Job Is My Identity: Who Am I Without It?
About this Event

Real Talk. Real Stories. Real Connection.

Le Goûter (pronounced "goo-TAY" - rhymes with “hooray”) is a live conversation series where we sit together to explore big, often unspoken questions, honestly, gently, and in good company.

Hosted by Ally Potel, a creative producer and event curator from Paris and based in Vancouver, this intimate series invites guests and audiences into honest, heart-opening dialogue.

Each episode brings two guests to the couch to share stories we don’t usually tell at work or on social media, stories of loss, change, transition, and growth in the workplace. We record in front of a small group of guests (10 guests) and after the conversation, we stay for a little while, reflect, and talk.

This isn’t a panel. It’s not a performance. It’s an invitation to be part of something honest and human.

🎙 The Episode

“My job is my identity: Who am I without it?”

For many of us, our work defines us. Our career title becomes our last name. But what happens when it’s gone, because we leave, get laid off, burn out, or simply outgrow it?

This first episode brings together two women who have faced this question head-on, and who’ve chosen to rebuild their identity with courage, curiosity, and depth.

Teri Holland is a high-performance coach and host of Success in Mind, a top 1% podcast. After building a business that once defined her, she chose to step back and ask: Is this still who I am? Her work now focuses on helping others rewrite their inner story using neuroscience and NLP.

Alicia Koo is the founder of The Daily Atelier, a brand strategist and speaker who teaches “soft rebellions”, small acts of clarity and defiance that help people live a life more aligned with their truth. She’s no stranger to shedding old roles to make space for something more honest.

They’ll share the real stuff: the doubts, the grief, the ego, the freedom, and the road to feeling whole again.
