Laurel Canyon is an acoustic trio of celebrated singers, songwriters and producers who expertly perform the definitive tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. The captivating show is performed by Grammy Award winning writer/producer Mark Hudson, Hall of Fame songwriter, Gary Burr, and veteran singer/songwriter Mark Mirando. Together they celebrate the hits and revisit the early bands and solo years of members of C,S,N & Y.
A mere thumbnail of Mark Hudson’s life in music includes his significant work as an artist, producer, writer and TV celebrity. He co-wrote Aerosmith’s Grammy award-winning hit “Living on the Edge” and produced and/or performed famously with Ringo Starr, Aerosmith, Cher, Harry Nilsson, the Scorpions and Ozzy Osbourne.
Gary Burr is one of Nashville’s legendary songwriters and celebrated performers. He’s been named Songwriter of the Year by Billboard, ASCAP, NSAI and is a member of the esteemed Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame. He’s written and performed with icons: Carole King, Ringo Starr and Kenny Loggins. Some of his dozens of top-forty hits, [14 #1 hits] have been recorded by: Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers, Joe Cocker, Randy Travis, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson.
An in-demand session musician and songwriter, Mark Mirando’s contributions to records by Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson and Badfinger’s Joey Molland punctuate a substantive career with music’s elite.
Laurel Canyon’s devotion to the music of C, S, N & Y is evident as the trio is celebrated as the definitive tribute to the music and golden era of their generation. For more first-hand perspective on this topic, just ask Gary Burr, he was in the audience at Woodstock in 1969!
