Launchpad Design Showcase

Launchpad is the platform for exhibiting the breadth of designs from Georgia Tech's industrial design students. This event stands as a testament to their talent, creativity, and commitment to human-centered design. Over time, it has evolved into a notable assembly, uniting students, faculty, alumni, industry professionals, and design enthusiasts. We welcome anyone interested in exploring how STEM design education can enhance the human experience.

This year we are joined by our friends in the School of Architecture and their End-of-Year Show. Both of these events make this the biggest design event in the South!

This event is free and open to everyone. Please register to RSVP, or share the event link with family and friends so they can RSVP individually.

On the event day, the host will check attendees in by name. Downloading the Eventbrite app or creating an account is NOT necessary—simply provide your name at the check-in table.

Parking is available in the Georgia Tech Visitor Area lots with hourly rates applicable.

Design enthusiasts, explore bold and innovative student work at Georgia Tech’s School of Architecture End of Year Show, hosted simultaneously in the Hinman Research Building, just steps from Launchpad.

Info: The School of Industrial Design (SID) end-of-year awards acknowledge exceptional student leadership, superlative design innovation, instructional excellence, and noteworthy student support. The award and recognition ceremony will commence in the Reinsch Pierce Auditorium in the East Architecture Building at 5:00 pm.

Info: We have transformed our studios and public spaces into a super-sized showcase of amazing design talent. See work from every level of undergraduate ID and Master’s of ID students. Admission ticket required for entry.

Info: We honor and welcome back our ID Alumni, and have set aside a special place for you to reminisce and reconnect. Stop by to tell us your stories, reengage with our program, and to help us usher in and congratulate our very newest Alumni. Come meet our best and brightest!
