This is hopefully going to be a really relaxed and celebratory way to launch my debut pamphlet 'One Woman-Horse Show' into the world.

Gboyega Odubanjo:

GBOYEGA ODUBANJO is a British-Nigerian poet born and raised in East London. He is a Roundhouse Resident Artist and his debut pamphlet, WHILE I YET LIVE, was published by Bad Betty Press in 2019.

Tom Clark:

Tom Clark is an artist and poet. His practice is currently concerned with politics of subjectivity and meaning making, where the personal intersects, misses, disrupts the shared, particularly in the functions and movements of language.

Jinhao Xie

Jinhao Xie, born in Chengdu, is interested in nature, the mundane, the interpersonal and selfhood. They are a current member of Southbank Centre New Poets Collective 2021/2022 and Barbican Young Poets 2021/2022.

Their work is in POETRY, Poetry Review, Gutter, harana, bath magg, and anthologies, including Slam! You're Gonna Wanna Hear This, edited by Nikita Gill, and Instagram Poetry for Every Day by the National Poetry Library. They are the inaugural champion of Asia House Poetry Slam.

In their spare time, they love to cook for their loved ones. They are most drawn to visual arts and are working on their first pamphlet based on translation, objects and memories.

Oluwaseun Olayiwola

Oluwaseun Olayiwola is a Nigerian-American dancer, choreographer, poet and critic based in London. His work has been commissioned by Spread The Word and Studio 3 Arts. In 2021, he was a recipient of the Samuel Ross Black British and POC Artist Grant. He recently completed an MFA in choreography from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where he developed the hybrid choreo-poetic practice he utilises in his live performance and written work.

In 2018, he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study in the United Kingdom. As a choreographer, his work has been presented in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy and the US. As a writer, his critical work and poetry have been published in the United Kingdom and the US. He became a Ledbury Poetry Critic in 2021.

Emma Djalili is an Algerian-Canadian poet, writer and community organiser living in Tottenham.

Abena Essah:

Abena Essah is a poet, musician, actor and creative of many hats based in London. Their practice often explores personal identity focusing on intersections of their queer identity, music, Ghanaian heritage and untold black history.

Abena Essah has been published by Spread the Word with Ink Sweat and Tears and Marques Almeida for London Fashion Week 2020. They have performed their music and poetry at the Southbank Centre with Outspoken Live, the Baroque at Edge Festival and the Brainchild Festival. They are a BBC Words First finalist, a Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist and a Some-Antics Slam Champion. They are also an alumnus of the Obsidian Foundation and The Writing Room and the Roundhouse Poetry Collective. Currently, Abena Essah is a Barbican Young Poet and a Roundhouse Resident Artist.

Lua Bairstow

Lua Bairstow (they/her) is queer, neurodivergent, Bradford-based multidisciplinary artist. Their work is experimental, DIY, raw & is the product of an intuitive, introspective process that draws from & plays with their own life.

Lua's most recent work is The Sound Grief Project (Bradford Producing Hub, Transform, Leeds Playhouse) and is a live art project exploring bereavement through sound composition.
