LAUNCH 2026Constance Artist-Run-Initiative (Constance ARI), in partnership with the Youth Arts and Recreation Centre (YARC), has paired eight young people with established local artist mentors to create bold and collaborative works that celebrate experimentation, mentorship, and creative exchange.
Currently, each pair is deep in the process of making, with artworks continuing to unfold in surprising directions right up until the exhibition. Visitors to LAUNCH will be offered a rare glimpse into the creative process, revealing what happens when collaboration, curiosity, and imagination lead the way.
LAUNCH was developed as an opportunity for young people to cultivate their artistic voices while building confidence and gaining valuable insights into the arts industry. Working across any medium of their choosing, the pairs’ projects range from songwriting to sculpture, drawing to mural painting, and everything in between.
We warmly invite you to join us in celebrating the culmination of these collaborations in this exciting and unpredictable exhibition.
We would like to express our gratitude to Workskills, Troublesmiths, HOMEBASE, Pulse Youth Health Service, and Karadi Aboriginal Corporation for partnering with us to select our eight young artists and to reach young people who access these services.
