Join us for Late Light Lectures, a series where curiosity meets conversation over drinks and bites.
About this Event

If you had to distil your New Year’s intentions or your broader life aspirations into just three words, what would they be?

Many of us operate on autopilot, guided by internal stories that quietly shape our decisions, behaviours, and relationships. Over time, these narratives can either support our wellbeing, or subtly erode it.

This session invites us to slow down and take stock. Through thoughtfully designed reflective prompts, we will surface the personal narratives that influence how we show up in our communities, at work, and in life. Expect a gentle, restorative experience: a journaling stationery buffet, unhurried conversations, and space to reconnect with yourself and others without the pressure to perform or be productive.

About our speaker

Nicole K. is the founder and Executive Director of The Tapestry Project SG, a non-profit organisation dedicated to strengthening mental wellbeing by weaving communities together through lived experience storytelling. The organisation publishes personal narratives by Singaporeans and designs narrative-based programmes that build reflection, meaning-making, and emotional resilience.

With a background as a freelance writer and editor, Nicole brings a strong belief in the transformative power of story to her work. Her postgraduate training in psychology and creative writing informs an interdisciplinary practice that bridges the literary arts, identity, and therapeutic practice. As a certified narrative therapist, she works at the intersection of story, healing, and social impact, enabling individuals and communities to reclaim agency through their stories.
