Join SBC for a return to the site of our first rally, Chaos in Catlett. Just as in Chaos I, we will skip Catlett and instead end up at the bucolic Cedar Run Brewery. They are closing in April, so this is a fond farewell to a favorite farm brewery. The ride will be led by SBC/VCDC members Fernando and John with help from other SBC/VCDC members. All scooterists are welcome regardless of club affiliation, but you should be confident riding in a large, tight, staggered group. We will make every effort to provide a safe route on public roads, but as always, ride your own ride, make your own choices, and do not exceed your ability. If you’re thinking of going (and yes you are!), please click “Going” so that we can give the brewery an estimate. There won’t be a food truck at the brewery, so bring your own snacks if desired.Meet at Coleman PowerSports in Falls Church (not Woodbridge). The dealership is closed on Sunday, but we can use the parking lot which does have room for trailers. Meet at 10:00, KSU at 10:30 sharp. Please arrive gassed up and peed out. There’s a gas station down the street and a 7-11 (no gas there) nearby. Our route will go for around 40 miles past the Beltway, into the countryside, and we might stop along the way at a park for photos. The ride is 50cc friendly with a few fast spots. Rain date is March 29.
If you have mechanical trouble during the ride, we will stop to make sure that you are not in danger, but then the ride will continue. Make sure that you have a back up plan for repairs or towing.
