About this Event
Learn the process of laser etching through a one-of-a-kind workshop where you can laser etch your own custom skate deck. Laser etching is a high-speed, non-contact method of image transfer where a focused laser beam is used to create permanent, high contrast markings on a surface.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of digital design skills through working with raster images and vectors. and practical considerations for translating digital imagery onto a real skateboard deck. This workshop is inspired by Queensland skate culture.
Skateboard trucks and wheels are not included in this workshop.
