International Women in Engineering Day Breakfast
Join QMCA, NAWIC Qld and DT Infrastructure as we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day.
International Women in Engineering Day began in the UK in 2014 as a National campaign by the Women’s Engineering Society. Since then, INWED has grown enormously, receiving UNESCO patronage in 2016 and going truly global the following year. The day highlights the amazing work of women in engineering and technical roles across our industry.
As an industry, we have undoubtedly come a long way, with QMCA and member companies supporting and driving positive change. However, more can still be done to increase female participation, promote careers and pathways in engineering, and ensure that we can attract and retain the best talent in infrastructure and engineering.
At our International Women in Engineering Day breakfast, join QMCA and keynote female leaders from across the industry as we celebrate women's achievements in infrastructure and address the challenges and barriers that prevent greater female participation.
Join us for a unique event. Book your place – grab a table, get involved in this event, and celebrate the fantastic women in the construction industry. This event will sell out, so secure your tickets early to avoid missing out.
