Your Locas:

Janice Rodriguez

Janice Rodriguez’s (@jvrspeaks) first name rhymes with Denise (you can ask her mom), and she’s a Chicago-based producer and comedian. When she's not creating another unnecessary spreadsheet, she performs her unique brand of stand-up across Chicagoland and the USA. Janice uses her experience as a Spanglish-speaking Latina, childfree marriage partner, and OK family member to tell her story. Janice aims to bring a fresh perspective to topics related to her culture, Indiana upbringing, and her professional and personal lives. She's also really tired. She's performed at Laugh Factory, LOL, Improv, Zanies, LaughFest, Helium Comedy Clubs & more. She’s also the Executive Producer of the Latina Comedy Festival, which celebrated its 4th year in October 2025.

Natasha Samreny

Natasha Samreny (@natashasamrenycomedy) is a Third Culture Kid comedian currently based in Florida, shaped by a globally nomadic upbringing and multicultural parents. Her comedy draws on identity, culture clashes, and everyday absurdities, appealing to anyone who treats garlic as a primary food group. Trained at Chicago’s Second City, Natasha has opened for Gina Brillon, John Poveromo, and Ahmed Ahmed, and has performed at venues and festivals including The Laugh Factory, The Improv, Boston Comedy Arts Festival, Latina Comedy Festival, Detroit Women of Comedy Festival, Mortified Chicago, Camden Fringe, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She also produces storytelling shows and workshops with organizations such as Florida Studio Theatre, New South Comedy Festival, and Rhode Island Latino Arts.

Aniria

Aniria (@aniriaisfunny) is a stand-up comedian and TV, film, and theater actor whose comedy is rooted in resilience, truth, and lived experience. She began her stand-up journey while navigating a tumultuous marriage, raising toddlers, working full-time, and earning her Master’s degree. Known for her bold, in-your-face humor, Aniria tackles cultural differences, dating, sex, parenting, and the often hilarious dynamics between men and women. Starting comedy later in life, the stage became both a passion and a form of therapy, helping her navigate divorce, single parenthood, and a new dating world. Now remarried, her comedy continues to evolve, offering audiences sharp insight, honesty, and plenty of laughs. Credits include Zanies, Laugh Factory, Helium, Don’t Tell Comedy, and theaters across the USA on her self-produced ¡Que Funny! tours.

Nana Rodriguez

Nana Rodriguez (@iamfunnyha) brings a bold, authentic voice rooted in her MexicanAmerican heritage and Chicago upbringing. Her comedy blends sharp wit, fearless storytelling, and deeply relatable experiences that resonate with diverse audiences. A winner of the Laugh After Dark ComedyFest 2024, Nana gained widespread attention when her Laugh After Dark performance clip went viral, earning over 300,000 views online. She is also a recipient of the Diverse Voice Award at the FemComedy Fiesta Festival and has performed at comedy clubs and theatres in major markets, including California, Texas, Maryland, and Washington. Known for her undeniable energy, strong stage presence, and heart, Nana is a standout on any lineup.
