Dallas Dia de los Muertos - The Largest Community Altar in the World celebrates the beloved cultural tradition of remembering loved ones who have passed on. The largest community altar will be installed on the Ron Kirk Pedestrian Bridge. The festival will feature traditional danza, music, a Catrina exhibit, a photo selfie station, Kid Zone, food, drink, and music. The community is invited to install their altar / ofrendas and should sign up at www.vivatexas.vip.The event hours:
Friday, November 1, from 6 PM to 10 PM
Saturday, November 2, from 12 PM to 10 PM
Free parking at Felix Lozada Gateway Park at 3118 Gulden Lane (bridge entrance). Additional paid parking will be located within walking distance.
All youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
