Are you a landlord or tenant with questions about housing discrimination, reasonable accommodations, or your rights under fair housing laws? Join us for a free, informative workshop designed to help you understand and navigate the principles of Fair Housing.
In this session, you'll learn:
- What Fair Housing laws protect—and who they apply to
- Common forms of housing discrimination (and how to identify them)
- Reasonable accommodations and modifications for tenants with disabilities
- Advertising and screening practices that comply with Fair Housing rules
- What to do if you experience or are accused of discrimination
This workshop is open to both landlords and tenants and will be offered in person at the library and online via Zoom for your convenience.
