Presented as part of the Gothenburg Tiny Clown Festival! This is an award-winning solo performance that combines North Serbian tradition with theater, music and clown art.Lala is a clown solo show about forbidden love and cultural identity. Through physical theatre, pantomime and dance, inspired by the culture and tradition of the people of Kikinda in the Banat region of Serbia, the clown tells the legend of the famous couple Lala and Sosa. Since the show’s development in 2022, it has surpassed 70 shows and achieved awards in international festivals. Apart from Serbia the show has been played in Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Czechia, Portugal, Sweden, and France.

The actor, main producer and initiator of “Lala” is Stefan Ostojić, award-winning for his clownery and puppetry. He graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 2017.
His solo clown show “Lala” has been performed in many national theatres in Serbia and all around Europe. Since 2024 he is doing bicycle tours through small villages with the biggest tour being the ”Circus Wolke” tour he did from Vienna to Kikinda in 2025. With his musical standup, poetry dinner and other shows and workshops he travels as a freelance artist and spreads the stories of his culture and homeland.
𝗟𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴
The direction is signed by Lee Delong, a respected American/French actress, director, clown teacher and writer who has been creating for over 30 years. She completed her formal education at the prestigious “Bouffes du Nord” where she worked with Peter Brook, at “L’École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq” in Paris, where she lives and works today, and through work with great names in the world of theatre, such as Alain Gautier, Carlo Boso, Donald Bien and many others. She has held countless clown workshops throughout Europe and the United States. Lee has also worked in television and film on numerous projects.
