Let’s get back into Laguna Creek after the 2nd and 3rd flush. Whether we pull out one bag or 10 bags of trash, let’s join together at 9 AM to play in the creek and the overflow channel (Kelly, this is your area, and you’ll need help) including the rocky “falls”. If you find the blue jeans 👖 in the rocks, let us know!It might not take too long to pull out washed down trash, but those with waders might be able to go after the stuff in the main channel of the creek which will keep us busy for awhile.
Depending on ground conditions, we strongly recommend mud boots 🥾, cultivators, and ability to help pull flotsam out of the creek.
There may be some easy pickings along the trail and on flat ground of the roadway along West Stockton.
Elk Grove is worth the work!
New to cleanups? Please arrive early to get signed in and get gear. If you have supplies, please bring your own gloves, buckets, bags, but we have items for you. Buckets, gloves, grabbers, vests, bags.
Please wear appropriate clothing, boots 🥾 or closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, hats, and bring your own water.
All cleanups are done at your own risk, but safety first! Our trash safety talk starts promptly at 9:00 am.

Best place to park is on Wooded Brook Drive just off of West Stockton. Some of us will park on the concrete apron at the creek.
