Lady Wildflower’s classes are suitable for all who wish to explore their own femininity

& sexuality in a fun, friendly, non-judgmental environment.

ALL ages (18+), genders, abilities & body types welcome & encouraged.

Discover the Art of the Tease: Over six 90 minute classes, you will learn how to

engage with your audience, how to pose like a pin-up, how to strut your stuff with

confidence, how to bump’n’grind like Bettie Page and how to peel away your gloves

with style and seduction... Have fun with boas and learn routines.

Suitable for those who want to perform as well as those who don’t. No previous

dance experience necessary and those with 2 left feet are more than welcome!

There is NO nudity involved in this course and you can wear whatever you feel good

in.

YOU WILL NEED: A pair of long/elbow length opera gloves

WHAT TO WEAR: Clothes that you can easily move in that make you feel fab – eg.

Leggings, shorts, a cute top, lingerie, tights, bikini – any combination of the above.

Footwear should be dance shoes with or without heels or bare feet.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Lady Wildflower is an internationally acclaimed and highly in-demand burlesque

artist based in West Yorkshire. She was consistently voted in the Top 20 UK

Burlesque industry professionals numerous times by 21st Century Burlesque and

was voted Number 41 worldwide in 2022.

For the past 17 years, Wildflower has regularly graced burlesque stages all over the

UK and Europe as well as around China and in New York.

Wildflower is also one of the country’s most respected Burlesque tutors. She teaches

regular courses and one-to-one mentoring in Manchester, Leeds & Macclesfield, and

has taught her masterclass workshops all over the UK, Europe and in Shanghai.

Many of her students over the last 14 years have become established, successful

burlesque performers and have performed internationally and won awards.

As well as producing Hebden Bridge Burlesque Festival since 2013, Lady Wildflower

is the producer of The Frou Frou Club Burlesque & Cabaret Show which she

founded in Hebden Bridge in 2011 and curates cabaret shows for many esteemed

venues around the North of England.

**Attendance at a class/party assumes acceptance of the following terms and

conditions:

Participants take part at their own risk and are obliged to inform Lady Wildflower of

any relevant existing injuries or medical conditions which may affect their

participation in the class. Lady Wildflower will occasionally take photographs and film

footage of participants during the class time for use in marketing and publicity

material. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed please inform Lady

Wildflower at the beginning of the session, otherwise permission is assumed. Lady

Wildflower accepts no responsibility for any loss of property or personal injury during

class times. Lady Wildflower reserves the right to substitute tutors without notice. For

health & safety reasons, all participants should refrain from eating or chewing gum

during class or excessive alcohol consumption prior to class. Any participant

believed to be intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs will be asked to

leave without refund. All class participants must be aged 18+. Class participants

should NOT use their own feather boas in class (as brand new boas create a big

mess in the studio) – Feather-free boas will be provided. Lady Wildflower will not

tolerate any form or bullying, discrimination or harassment of any other

students/teachers/venue staff and reserves the right to eject anyone from the class

and ban from future classes without refund on these grounds. Lady Wildflower will

not tolerate any form of racism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, ableism,

fatphobia, body-shaming, whorephobia/ slut-shaming and reserves the right to eject

anyone from the class and ban from future classes without refund on these grounds.

Lady Wildflower reserves the right to refuse entry to classes without refund should

any of these terms be breached. If any class participant causes any damage to the

venue, the venue’s property or Lady Wildflower’s property, they are held fully

responsible for any resulting costs. Any issues regarding any of the above clauses

should be raised before confirming the booking.
